The first round of inductees will be selected by the TBHOF Board of Directors for 2024. The Induction Ceremony will be held at the Compton Big Game Classic in Denver, Colorado, on March 14, 2025. The board will also select Legacy Inductees who will be automatically entered into the hall of fame. Legacy and 2024 inductees will be announced in January 2025. We encourage you to attend the Big Game Classic, and join us in celebrating the first class of the Traditional Bowhunters Hall of Fame.
Nominations thereafter will be according to our Nomination Process. After a review of all nominations received, The Board of Directors will select the nominees moving forward for voting, and those will be voted on by a group of Electors who consist of board members of Traditional Bowhunters Hall of Fame, past living inductees to TBHOF, board members of Compton Traditional Bowhunters, council members of Professional Bowhunters Society, and other archery historians selected by the TBHOF board. All Electors serve at the discretion of the TBHOF Board of Directors.
The second Induction Ceremony will be held at the PBS Biennial Gathering in Indianapolis, Indiana in March of 2026 (exact date to be determined by PBS).
We feel that participating with these two national clubs will bring together a large number of traditional bowhunters to welcome and celebrate the accomplishments of TBHOF Inductees each year. State and local clubs are also a large part of our sponsorship, and we expect to have many “unsung heroes” submitted for their work in these organizations as well.
We encourage you to nominate outstanding men and women who you feel qualify for this prestigious award.
